The VPN would just be hiding your traffic from your ISP. Logging into accounts you've previously used from your actual IP immediately identifies you. Reddit also uses google analytics, so google can track you that way as well. As for Windows 10, your data is being collected. No, there's not a lot you can do about it besides using another OS.
